Maui Brewing Company Kihei proudly presents the 2nd Annual POG Fest on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Dedicated to all things POG (passionfruit, orange, guava), this festival has it all – from beer to bao buns, kombucha to crepes, live entertainment and exclusive gifts!
Offerings from the Maui Brewing family of brands including Maui Brewing Company, Maui Hard Seltzer, Kupu Spirits, and Modern Times Beer headline the beverage lineup. Passionfruit-styled samplings from local friends at Mahalo Aleworks, Kohola Brewery, Vitalitea Hawaii, and Pauwela Beverage Co. will also be available.
Tickets are now available to purchase online for $125. Ticket price includes:
- Admission to the event
- Access to food sampling stations
- Exclusive POG lanyard
- 6 ounce tasting glass
- 5 half beers (6oz pour)
- Commemorative POG coin good for one full size festival beer
Keeping to the POG. theme, the culinary team at MBC Kihei will showcase creative and delectable food tastings sourced from local farms. Savory samplings include:
- Pork Belly Bao Buns – orange braised local pork belly with guava hoisin glaze
- Fried Chicken Slider – POG hot sauce, Passion Fruit Slaw
- Seared Catch of the Day – local catch, POG Buerre Blanc
- Grilled Steak Salad – Citrus Chipotle Steak with Passion Fruit Dressing
- Housemade Malasadas – Lilikoi Guava curd filling
- POG Crepe Suzette – Kupu Spirits Gin & POG sauce
Move and groove to the sounds of local musicians Matt Del Olmo and the ‘Three to 5’ band.
